Obituary:

Anthony G. Valley, 68, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Concord Hospital with his family at his side.

A lifelong Pembroke resident, Tony was born October 13, 1941 to the late George and Dorothy (Gilbert) Valley.

He had been employed as maintenance supervisor at One Dow Court in Manchester and had also worked at the Emerson Mills in Suncook.

An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially loved working on his home and riding his Harley. Tony thrived on being with and doing things with the love of his life, Connie, and his dog, Narla.  He was also thankful for the special bond he and his brother-in-law, Chuck, established both before and during Tony’s illness.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Connie (Duquette) Valley of Pembroke; 5 children, Johnny Valley and his wife Mary of Manchester, Anthony Valley, Jr. of Goffstown, Deborah Roberts of Concord, Crystal Valley and her companion Brian Marquis of Manchester, and Suzanne Ouellette and her companion Jim Osborne of Epsom; 6 grandchildren, Nicole Valley, Jessica Ouellette, Laura Stafford, Steven Valley, Adam Sheppard, and James Osborne; 1 great granddaughter, Taidrenna; 8 siblings, Jim Valley and his wife Rita of McHenry, IL, Henry Valley and his wife Monique, and Ron Valley and his wife Debbie, all of Dandridge, TN, Peter Valley, Georgette Demeo, and Donna Valley and her spouse Kelli, all of Pembroke, Nancy Frank and her husband Tim of Clinton, WI,  and Bill Valley and his wife Pam of Concord; brothers- and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.  Tony was predeceased by his daughter, Annette.


Visitation:

Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. 



Service:

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown with burial following in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
