Mrs. Grace (Gray) Prive, 74, of Verville Road, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Concord Hospital.

Born on March 26, 1935 in Concord, Grace was the daughter of Almon and Dorothy (Miller) (Gray) Marshall.  She had been a resident of Allenstown for more than 50 years.

Her employment career included time spent as a dietary aide at St. Paul’s School, work for Beede Electric, and at the NH State Hospital.

Among her accomplishments, she was extremely proud of the fact that she completed her GED in 1995 at the age of 60. She was also dedicated to her family, enjoyed NASCAR, knitting and Old Orchard Beach.

She was the widow of Edme Prive, who died in 1999, and is survived by children, Pearl Marie Labrie and her companion Caleb Standley of Concord, Edward Prive of Allenstown, and Raine Prive and his wife Gail of Lawrence, MA; 4 grandchildren, Eric Raymond, Christina Labrie, Brandon Prive, and Brittany Chenette; 5 great grandchildren, Derick, Landon, and Jameson Raymond, Kyleigh Prive, and Cody Martin; a sister, Barbara Orton of Concord; a brother, Walter Marshall, Jr. and his wife Toni of Penacook; and nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Prive was predeceased by her step-father, Walter Marshall, Sr. and siblings, Almon ”Ralph” Gray, Jr. and Gloria Wescomb Savoy.
